Project Introduction

This project addresses the challenge of managing spatial information in Digital Twin (DT)–based metaverse environments. By integrating real-world spatial information with user behavioral data collected in virtual environments, we developed a framework for efficient spatial management and personalized user experiences.
Using a large-scale Minecraft testbed of Daejeon city, we collected more than 750,000 user logs and survey responses from 232 participants. Based on this dataset, we created methods for graph-based spatial importance analysis and applied Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) to detect communities and predict priority areas for spatial information maintenance.

Achievements

Established a virtual city testbed (2 km² scale)
Collected large-scale user log and survey data
Developed a prototype model for spatial priority prediction
Produced demo applications and showcased results at domestic/international conferences and journals
